Law Roundup: Unwanted package not considered evidence – Daily Inter Lake

Despite notifying her bank of a fraud charge on a credit card and freezing her accounts, a package from Victoria’s Secret was still delivered to a caller. Kalispell Police Department told her she could keep the package because it was not deemed worthy of retaining as evidence. 
After putting down half the money for a trailer a caller reported to law enforcement that the owner sold the trailer out from under him. 
A dark blue SUV that had been parked overnight had its front windshield completely smashed in. 
A manager reported that someone was standing on the street yelling at customers as they passed by.   
An unknown vehicle took out fences and a speed limit sign.  
A driver accidentally bumped their phone while driving calling 911. 
An almost five-gallon gas can was sitting unsecured outside an abandoned vehicle.  
A suspicious man crossing the street was just taking a walk.  
False accusations were being posted online and a caller wanted it recorded.  
A 2021 Ford Transit had been left in a parking lot for about a year. 
A driver said a smaller silver SUV side-swiped her vehicle causing minor damage. But with limited information provided, law enforcement said it would be difficult to find the offending vehicle.  
A lost lab mix, and a German shepherd were taken to the shelter.  
A cleaning crew triggered a house alarm.  
A woman in her late 20s wearing pink sweat pants and an older woman in dark clothing were allegedly stealing from a store, but had taken off.  
A daughter on a walk with her elderly mother was unable to locate her parent after turning her back for a minute.  
A man riding his bike around town in the dark was advised to put a light on his bike.  
After his car was backed into, a man thought he had broken his wrist.
