TRENTON, Neb. (KSNB) – The Nebraska State Patrol and the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Office are searching for an early 1990s Jeep Cherokee involved in a break-in at the Dollar General in Trenton early Monday.
Authorities said the vehicle was driven into the store’s front entrance around 6:15 a.m.
The driver, according to the Nebraska State Patrol, was wearing a black hoodie with a chest logo, a bandana covering their face, and latex gloves.
Investigators said the Jeep has an aftermarket front bumper and may have sustained front-end damage during the incident.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or the suspect is urged to call 911 or the Nebraska State Patrol dispatch at 308-535-8047.
