ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) – Check your tickets – three people who purchased lottery tickets in South Carolina could be thousands of dollars richer, but they don’t know it yet.
Three winning Mega Millions lottery tickets were sold at gas stations in Orangeburg, Summerville and Ravenel. They have yet to be claimed.
One ticket worth $40,000 was sold at the Quick Pantry, which is located on John C. Calhoun Drive in Orangeburg, according to a news release from the S.C. Education Lottery.
Another ticket, worth $10,000, was sold at the Scotchman at 10305 Highway 78 East in Summerville.
A second $10,000 ticket was sold at a Quick Stop in Ravenel, located at 5737 Savannah Highway.
According to a news release from lottery officials, the three tickets “matched four while ball numbers and the gold Megaball number in the Tuesday, December 17, drawing (56, 66, 67, 68, 69 and MB:18) at odds of 1 in 931,001. The Megaplier® number selected was a 4.”
If you are one of the winners, you have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim your prize. For more information on how to do that, visit the South Carolina Education Lottery’s website.
