As Tennessee marks Christian Heritage Month, SNAP benefits for 700,000 will end | Opinion – The Tennessean

In 2024, the Tennessee State Legislature passed HB 2125, labeling November as “Christian Heritage Month.”
In the midst of the turmoil of the 2024 Legislative Session, this bill didn’t get much attention. It is low-impact because it doesn’t have any curriculum implementation attached to it, unlike Arkansas and Oklahoma. Nor does it have any implementation for state employees beyond its acknowledgement.
