COP30 starts on Monday, 10 October. The head of the UN has called our inability to keep below 1.5 degrees global warming as “moral failure and deadly negligence“.
There are so many reasons to despair, to assume that nothing good can come out of yet another conference where fossil fuel lobbyists out-number the delegation of whole countries.
And yet, it must always be right to pray. And it must always to right to act in love and solidarity with those who are suffering and who will suffer. And in praying and acting together we can encourage each other to keep faithful in our prayer and action.
Green Christians will be hosting ten minutes of online prayer for the UN Climate Conference, COP30 at 8am every morning from 10-22 November 2025.
