Christianity in the classroom? Ohio lawmakers want teachers to talk about positive history – Cincinnati Enquirer

Ohio Republican lawmakers want public school teachers and college professors to talk about the positive influence of Christianity on American history without fear of losing their jobs or being reprimanded.
That’s why state Reps. Gary Click, R-Vickery, and Mike Dovilla, R-Berea, introduced House Bill 486, which would permit public school teachers and college professors to teach students about the influence of Christianity on history and culture. No other religion is included in the bill.
