Blackhawk Christian boys soccer looks for program’s first state title, undefeated season – 21Alive

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – For the first time in school history, the Blackhawk Christian boys soccer team will play for a state championship Friday night — with a chance to finish the season undefeated.
The Braves will enter the Class 1A state title match with an 18-0-4 record, holding zero losses and just four ties. They advanced to the championship after a thrilling semi-state win in penalty kicks over defending state champion Covenant Christian on Saturday.
Blackhawk Christian fell behind 1-0 and 2-1 during the match, but a goal from Isaiah Davidson in the 75th minute helped the Braves rally to force penalty kicks and secure the victory.
The Braves will face Indianapolis Scecina in the state championship match Friday night at 8:30 p.m. at IU Indy.
