Blue Jays players reflect on their Christian faith going into Game 3 of World Series – CHVN Radio

A few of the professional baseball players on the Toronto Blue Jays team are speaking up about their Christian faith in the middle of the World Series.
“It means everything to me,” says Addison Barger to CBN Sports Media. “I come from a Christian family. That was my upbringing. To me, it’s more important than anything, and keeping my faith in Jesus.”
The 25-year-old plays third base for the Blue Jays.
“Having Him [Jesus] every day, it’s everything. I know whether I play good or bad, I’m loved, and that’s the only thing that really matters.”

Another Blue Jays infield player, Bo Bichette, also shared how important his Christian faith is to him.
"It's everything," said Bichette. "My whole life, I've prayed to stay grounded through all this. Through accomplishments and through failures.  There's no way that I could stay as close to who I have been my whole life without God."

This is the first time since 1993 that Toronto has made it to the World Series. They are currently in the middle of the finals against the Los Angeles Dodgers, heading into game three tonight in L.A.. The series is currently tied.
