Elder Gérald Caussé of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles dedicated the new Institute of Religion of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Logan, Utah, on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
“This new building is not just a place of study — it is a sacred place where you can come to teach one another, feel the Spirit, gain wisdom and deepen your testimony of Jesus Christ,” the Apostle said to young adults at Utah State University. “May the time you spend here now become some of the most precious memories of your university experience. And when you have left this university, I hope you will have established habits of gospel study that will bless you throughout your life. Keep seeking truth every day. Keep a lifelong thirst for learning — both spiritual and secular — that strengthens your faith and brings you closer to the Savior.”
In his dedicatory prayer, Elder Caussé asked that a spirit of welcome abide in the new institute.
“May all who enter feel Thy Spirit and the warmth of friendship,” he said. “May hearts be turned toward Thee, faith strengthened and lives changed. Let this be a place where testimonies grow, where many will choose to be baptized, enter missionary service, and make and keep temple covenants. May it be a place where all who come here find welcome and fellowship, where no one ever sits alone.”
