Two developers from the Uzbek studio Azikton presented their first game — Doomed Detective Game. This is an unusual detective story, in which players can personally communicate with characters using voice chat — as if they were conducting a real interrogation.

Instead of banking on a hefty tax return to kick off the new financial year, you could be cashing in a life-changing prize if you unearth a division one winning lottery ticket among receipts and paperwork this tax time.
There are currently 10 unclaimed division one and major lottery prizes across Queensland worth $7.4 million (see Table 1 below).
These winning tickets were not registered to a player card or an online account, so lottery officials have no way of identifying or contacting the mystery winners to unite them with their prize.
The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said lottery players in the sunshine state had seven years to claim their division one prizes but hoped no one would wait that long to come forward.
“The oldest division one winning entry we have unclaimed in Queensland is a Saturday Gold Lotto prize worth $1 million from a draw in June 2015,” she explained.
“This ticket was purchased at Nextra Morayfield Village in Morayfield and we haven’t heard a peep from this winner in six years. They have just one more year to claim their prize.
“More recently, we have an unclaimed $1 million Monday and Wednesday Gold Lotto prize from just last week.
“This division one winning entry was purchased at news extra Mossman in far north Queensland and we are certainly hoping to speak to this person soon.”
Ms Cooney said Queensland lottery players were being urged to keep their eyes peeled for any old tickets they might find around the home, car or office.
“From old shopping bags and fridge doors, to car gloveboxes and sock drawers, Aussies certainly have a history of storing winning lottery tickets in weird and wonderful places,” she said.
“We’ve had past division one winners come forward months and even years after the draw after finding an old ticket in the back of a drawer, in the central console of their car, and at the bottom of their handbag.
“With more than $7.8 million waiting to be united with their rightful winners, it’s worth checking any old lottery tickets you might come across! You can check your tickets at any licenced lottery outlet, online at thelott.com or via The Lott app.”
Ms Cooney said the list of unclaimed prizes was a great reminder for players grabbing an entry into this weekend’s Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw to register their entry to a player card or online account.
“We’re in the business of paying prizes and should you win big, you’ll want us to be able to reach out to you with the winning news,” she said.

Victor Wembanyama has been critical to the Spurs‘ success in the 2024-25 season.
Sitting at 23-29 as of Thursday, San Antonio’s .442 winning percentage is on track to be its best since 2020-21 (.458). At the very least, the Spurs have been competing for a play-in tournament spot as they seek their first playoff appearance since the 2018-19 campaign.
Wembanyama, recently named an All-Star for the first time, has lifted the Spurs’ ceiling with his stardom. But the squad got bad news Thursday as its star big man will miss the rest of the 2024-25 season with a deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
With Wembanyama sidelined, the trajectory of San Antonio’s season could change. It may be tough for the Spurs to compete for a play-in tournament spot, let alone the playoffs, as they’ll likely plummet in the standings without their 7-foot-3 star center.
Here’s how Wembanyama’s injury could impact the Spurs’ chances of a top selection in the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery.

The 14 teams that miss out on the NBA Playoffs will be entered into the Draft Lottery. After the regular season is over, those 14 teams are given their odds for the No. 1 selection in the draft, with better chances given to teams with worse records.
It’s important to note that only the top-four overall selections are actually decided by the lottery. Picks 5-through-14 are then assigned based on the inverse order of the remaining team’s records.
Unlike some other professional sports leagues, owning the league’s worst record does not guarantee the No. 1 selection in the NBA. The squads with three-worst records all have the same chances at the first pick, 14%, but with the way the lottery is designed, the team with the worst record can fall no lower than the No. 5 pick.
The teams with the higher odds at the No. 1 selection are given more ping pong balls out of the combined total, increasing their chances of being drawn in the lottery when the four balls are selected for the top-four picks.
Here’s the full breakdown of No. 1 pick odds for the 14 non-playoff teams in reverse order of the final standings:
For lottery teams with identical records, their chances at the top selection are averaged between the two teams. After the top-four picks are decided, if two teams have identical records from Pick No. 5 on, then the tiebreaking procedure is just a coin flip/random drawings between the squads, which the league then announces afterward.

At the time of the Wemby news, the Spurs sit at 12th in the Western Conference with a 23-29 record and 30 games remaining. In a league-wide view, San Antonio has the 10th-worst record in the NBA, slightly better than Portland (23-32) but worse than Miami (25-28).
Based on the Spurs’ current standing, they would have a 3.0% chance at the No. 1 pick for the 2025 NBA Draft. Per Tankathon, that also includes a 3.3% chance at the second overall pick, a 3.6% chance at the third overall pick and a 4.0% chance at the fourth overall pick.
For the time being, San Antonio’s highest chances would be for the 10th overall pick at 65.9%.

While the Spurs have the league’s 10th-worst record for now, it’s fair to assume they could fall further in the standings without Wembanyama. This season, he’s accounted for 24.3 of San Antonio’s 113 points per game (21.5%), 11 of the team’s 45 rebounds per game (24.4%) and 3.8 of the team’s 6.5 blocks per game (58.5%).
According to NBA.com, the Spurs have a 112.5 offensive rating and a 110.0 defensive rating this season when Wembanyama is on the court. When he’s not playing, the Spurs have a 107.5 offensive rating (decrease of 5.0) and a 115.4 defensive rating (increase of 5.4). Objectively, Wembanyama is one of the most valuable and impactful players in the NBA — especially with his defensive presence.
According to StatMuse, the Spurs have gone 5-12 without Wembanyama in his career so far, a .294 win percentage. For comparison, a .294 win percentage would give a team the fifth-worst record in the league as things stand in the 2024-25 season. And with the Spurs recently adding another All-Star to their roster, point guard De’Aaron Fox, they may not be completely doomed without Wembanyama.
With just 30 games remaining, it would be tough for the Spurs to lose enough to catch the Wizards (9-45), Pelicans (13-42), Jazz (13-41), Hornets (14-39) and Raptors (17-38). If the Wembanyama-less Spurs struggle, they could possibly fall in range for the sixth-to-eighth-worst record in the league, potentially increasing their No. 1 pick chances to 6.0% or higher.
The Spurs’ most direct competition in the Draft Lottery race will be the Nets (20-34), 76ers (20-34), Bulls (22-33) and Trail Blazers (23-32). Of those teams, Philadelphia may still have enough talent to make a late playoff push with better health, while Portland has quietly won 10 of its last 14 games. 
Players like Fox, rookie guard Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell could keep San Antonio competitive without Wembanyama. More likely, though, the Spurs could increase their No. 1 pick chances by a few percentage points if they struggle without their 21-year-old star center.

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has relaunched the Veterans Administration Ghana (VAG) lotto game to its Lotto Marketing Companies (LMCs) as part of a collaboration agreement with the VAG.
Director-General of NLA, Samuel Awuku – who addressed dignitaries at an unveilling ceremony of new draw machines and relaunch of the VAG lottery in Accra, said the reintroduction will offer effectiveness, improve chances of winning and maintain the authority’s profitability.
“The VAG lotto draw, which hitherto was held at 8:30am, will now be held at 10am from Monday to Saturday. This is to give players more time before the draw,” Mr. Awuku said.
It will be recalled that the NLA in June 2018 signed a collaboration agreement with VAG to exclusively hold lotteries, raffles or other similar games and operations.
As part of the collaboration with NLA, VAG terminated all outstanding contracts executed with third parties in connection with lotto.
The agreement, Mr. Awuku noted, is in furtherance of the Authority’s objects under section 22 of Act 844.
He said the NLA will endeavour to promptly honour its contractual obligations under the agreement with the VAG.
Launch of new draw machines and studio
After 27 years of operating with the old draw machines, which the NLA described as ‘godfather machines’, Mr. Awuku explained that their ability to effectively function has been hampered.
“Additionally, the machines have become obsolete and their manufacturers are no longer making the specific models; thus, obtaining spare-parts to fix them has become difficult,” he said.
In this vein, the Authority has unveilled four new modern draw machines for Monday Special, Midweek, Friday Bonanza and National Weekly Lotto games.
However, according to the NLA, the old machines will for the meantime still be used to draw Lucky Tuesday, Fortune Thursday and Sunday Aseda games until they are all completely phased out.
The Authority has also in accordance with best practices remodelled its draw studios to complement the introduction of new machines.
“All these strides and feats have become necessary to elevate our status to be at par with global best practice. NLA recently attained its level 2 certification in responsible gaming from the World Lottery Association (WLA), and is working on achieving level 3 by end of the year. All these mean that the NLA must operate with machines and equipment of the highest standard,” Mr. Awuku noted.
Minister of Defence, Dominic Ntiwul, commended the NLA for sustaining VAG lotto over the years and rebranding it for LMCs.
“The partnership between the NLA and VAG has been of immense benefit to Veterans, with the Authority’s monthly cash payments, medical aid among others,” Mr. Ntiwul said.

The amount of time players have to claim their prizes varies from state to state. In Queensland, people have seven years, while in New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory it is six years. In Victoria, people have six months to claim their prize directly from Tatts, after which it can be claimed from the Victorian State Revenue Office. In South Australia, people have 12 months to claim their prize directly from SA Lotteries, after which it can be claimed from the South Australian Government.
The prize claim period is set to expire next month on two major prizes – the $4.8 million Set for Life prize from Echuca in Victoria, and the $1.05 million Saturday X Lotto prize from Naracoorte in South Australia.

The burial service for renowned Ghanaian traditional singer Naa Amanua Dodoo, popularly known as Naa Amanua, is currently taking place at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.

Family, friends, and loved ones, dressed in black and red, have gathered to pay their last respects, with many visibly emotional as they file past her body. Her microphone-shaped coffin, a tribute to her musical legacy, stands as a symbol of her profound influence on Ghanaian traditional music.

Naa Amanua, who passed away on December 17, 2024, was a member of the iconic Wulomei band and a cultural ambassador dedicated to preserving and promoting indigenous Ghanaian music.
