Following its recent display of positive momentum, the price of Bitcoin returning to six-figure valuation has been the most popular narrative in the cryptocurrency market. However, the latest on-chain data suggests a relevant class of investors might pose a threat to the premier cryptocurrency’s dream of reclaiming $100,000.
In a May 2 post on X, blockchain analytics firm Glassnode shared an insight into the behavior of the Bitcoin long-term holders (LTH) and how it could impact BTC’s price trajectory over the next few days. Long-term holders refer to investors who have not moved their coins for more than 155 days.
According to the latest on-chain data, Bitcoin long-term holders have been in an accumulation phase in recent weeks, with more than 254,000 BTC aging beyond 155 days since the recent price low. Glassnode added that most of these investors purchased their coins above the $95,000 price level.
With the total supply held by these Bitcoin long-term investors on the rise, it implies that their spending has remained minimal and light — even in the face of bearish pressure and the uncertain market condition in the past month. This positive trend signals renewed confidence and the LTHs’ lack of interest in reducing their exposure in the market.

Glassnode, however, noted that long-term holders often begin distributing their coins around 350% unrealized profit margins, which corresponds with a Bitcoin price of approximately $99,900. With the BTC price closing in on this level, the analytics firm believes that increased sell-side pressure might be on the horizon for the flagship cryptocurrency.
Furthermore, Glassnode revealed that a large chunk of coins was purchased within the $95,000 – $98,000 region, leading to the formation of a supply barrier. The Bitcoin price could witness significant downward pressure if investors with their cost bases within this region decide to exit at breakeven or after a little profit.
The analytics firm concluded that the potential sell-side pressure from the large BTC supply in the $95,000 – $98,000 region and from the long-term holders distributing their coins around the $99,900 level creates a major resistance barrier. However, a successful breach of the $100,000 mark could “open the path to price discovery,” as the coin supply above this price level is relatively light.
As of this writing, BTC is valued at around $96,500, reflecting a 0.4% price decline in the past 24 hours.

The Ghana Federation of American Football (GFAF), in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service, will host a National Coaches Clinic in Accra to equip coaches with the skills needed to successfully implement flag football in schools nationwide.
The 10-day event, divided into two phases from May 12-16 and May 19-23, 2025, will take place at the University of Ghana.

It will bring together 16 physical education regional coordinators from the Ghana Education Service across all 16 regions, four representatives from the national Physical Education coordinator’s office, and seven youth leaders selected from the NKWA annual camps.
Led by experienced technical instructors from the USA, with Coach David Grimes at the helm, the clinic will combine theoretical and practical training to ensure coaches are well-prepared to develop young athletes.
Mr. Mohammed Osman Nkosi, a key stakeholder in the GFAF, emphasised the clinic’s importance, stating,
“Sustainable football development hinges on coaches mastering effective coaching methods. As we gear up for intensive flag football programs in schools, this clinic will empower coaches to guide our youth successfully.”
The Ghana Federation of American Football, under the leadership of NFL player Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, is the recognised governing body dedicated to promoting and advancing American football in Ghana. The federation has outlined strategic measures to foster the sport’s growth across the country.
This clinic marks a significant step toward building a strong foundation for flag football in Ghana’s schools, ensuring a brighter future for the sport.

What is it about this project that it immediately burst into the top? Let’s figure it out.
The main feature, of course, is the idea. Blackwake invites players to become part of a team of pirates or British naval soldiers from the colonial wars. Battles take place on ships on the high seas – and these are not just shootouts, but real naval battles with an emphasis on co-op. Yes, the theme has already been encountered in games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag or Corsairs, but Blackwake presents all this with a different emphasis – on live interaction and teamwork.

Here you can’t be a lone hero shooting everyone in a row. Each player chooses which faction to join, and from that moment on, a real sea adventure begins.
The game features large-scale naval battles, in which both a couple of ships and an entire flotilla can participate. There are two types of ships: a maneuverable brig designed for 8 people, and a powerful galleon with a crew of 16 players. It is important that each player performs their own unique role – someone loads the cannons, someone controls the sails, someone leads the battle, and someone commands. All these actions require clear coordination and mutual understanding.
The captain is the key figure on the ship. He is not appointed automatically, but is chosen by the team through a vote. And he is the one who makes strategic decisions: where to sail, who to fight, when to retreat. This approach adds depth to the game and an element of role-playing interaction – a good captain is worth his weight in gold.

But battles are not limited to cannon duels. Players can go down in boats, storm enemy ships, land on the shore and arrange battles on land. All this creates the feeling of a living, dynamic world, where every decision can change the outcome of the battle.
The atmosphere deserves special praise. The game is literally imbued with the spirit of old sea adventures: the creaking of wooden decks, the flag fluttering above the mast, the sounds of a volley and the cries of the team create an immersion that is difficult to overestimate. Players often begin to get used to the roles – they speak with an accent, play out characters, and the entire session turns into a mini-theatre on the waves.
Bottom line: the game is not just a set of mechanics, but a whole world where everyone can feel like part of a team, a hero of a sea novel or a fearless corsair. It develops a sense of shoulder, teaches teamwork and gives a lot of bright emotions. This is an excellent choice for those who are looking for atmospheric adventures, live interaction and an unusual format of multiplayer gameplay.
Once a modest indie studio, they have now managed to surprise — their new game looks very impressive at first glance. This is especially noticeable in the elaboration of the surrounding world. The landscapes are a real gift for the eyes: the sea is realistically agitated, the cliffs rise sternly and vividly, and the sky plays with colors, like a painting. The view of the endless ocean can easily take you into a contemplative mood — it is so beautiful and monumental. This part of the visuals is clearly a success.
But as soon as the gaze moves from the backgrounds to the characters — the impression begins to deteriorate. The character models, namely the crew members, look rough and outdated, as if they were pulled out of the archives of shooters from the early 2000s. The faces are expressionless, the bodies are angular, the movements are mechanical and ill-conceived. The animations of transitions between actions (for example, reloading, moving or interacting with objects) look so unnatural that it can irritate even those players who usually turn a blind eye to little things.

The problems are particularly noticeable in the following areas:
The environment objects are not the best either. Guns, rifles and other weapons look simplified – the textures are poor, there are few details, and it seems that they were simply “gone over” for show. If you want, you can literally start counting polygons – they are so noticeable. But, what is important, in the heat of battle you stop paying attention to all this.
Because the action in the game is top-notch. The battles here are staged on a grand scale: ships fly into pieces, thick clouds of smoke cover the battlefield, fragments fly in all directions, and individual scenes – with flying limbs and spectacular explosions – look truly cinematic. Epic clashes, tension and chaos – everything is done so that you literally “get stuck” in what is happening. The battles turned out to be spectacular, intense and emotionally charged.
Bottom line: judging as a whole, the game leaves a pleasant impression. Yes, the visual style is uneven – the landscapes are almost AAA-quality, while the character and weapon models are far inferior. However, the project is interesting due to its lively gameplay and vivid battles. Although it does not reach the level of famous team shooters, in terms of involvement and drive, it can give a head start to many. This is the case when the atmosphere and gameplay outweigh the visual shortcomings.
The first thing the game starts with is character customization. The appearance editor is not very deep, but it allows you to choose gender (you can play as either a man or a woman), as well as customize some facial features and accessories. Nothing super detailed, but it is enough to make your hero feel like part of the team rather than an empty shell. After that, the player chooses between two factions: pirates, thirsty for plunder and chaos, and soldiers of the British Empire, acting with a bit of discipline and honor. This is not just a visual choice – it affects small details like health restoration (for pirates – rum, for the British – tea), as well as the style of lines and atmosphere.

Right after the introduction, you find yourself on the deck of either a small eight-man brig or a large sixteen-man galleon. These ships are a real battlefield. But, unlike standard shooters, here players do not just shoot. They play roles: someone controls the helm, someone loads the cannons, someone seals the holes, and someone tries to fight off boarding. Each weapon requires preparation: fill with gunpowder, load the cannonball, light the fuse – all this takes about 10 seconds. Attacks must be coordinated, otherwise the ship will simply be vulnerable to the enemy. And if the damage is critical, team coordination will be needed to save the ship from imminent death.
Blackwake has several game modes:
Each battle requires tactical thinking. Some teams can focus on long-range artillery fire, while others can board and arrange a bloody meat grinder on the deck. The game encourages creativity and cooperation — it is simply impossible to carry the load alone.
The game’s main feature is the atmosphere of an 18th-century naval battle. Everything, from the sounds of bullets to the swearing of pirates, is in the style of the era. Ships rumble, planks creak, and cannonballs tear off masts. Periodically, fires break out on the deck that need to be extinguished, or holes appear that are urgently sealed with planks. Even small things work to immerse you: treatment with rum and tea, cries of “Reloading the port side!” and sudden cries of “BOARDING!” make your heart beat faster.
Blackwake is not just a ship shooter. It is cooperative chaos, sea romance, and the opportunity to yell “Fire in the hole!” into the microphone while your ship is sinking. The game is definitely not perfect, but it knows how to hook: atmosphere, team play, and non-standard gameplay. It is suitable for anyone who is tired of monotonous online shooters and wants to try something fresh, albeit a little awkward.

Move over Strategy. There’s a new bitcoin investment vehicle on Wall Street that is luring investors.
Cantor Equity Partners, a SPAC that recently struck a deal to merge with crypto firm Twenty One Capital, has seen its stock price soar as much as 462% since it announced the merger on April 22.
The rally continued on Thursday, with shares soaring as much as 42% as bitcoin edged up toward the $100,000 level.
Twenty One Capital is backed by stablecoin issuer Tether, as well as Bitfinex and SoftBank Group.
The company strives to become a pure-play bitcoin holding company that increases its exposure to the cryptocurrency over time, similar to Michael Saylor’s Strategy.
In a recent investor presentation filed with the SEC, Twenty One Capital said it would hold about 42,000 bitcoin and use shareholder-friendly methods to purchase more of the crypto over time, including selling stock and debt to fund future purchases.
The holding of 42,000 bitcoins would make Twenty One Capital the third-largest bitcoin treasury in the world.
The combined company is set to have about 371 million shares outstanding, lending Twenty One Capital a market valuation of $18 billion at current prices.
That’s more than quadruple the value of the bitcoin it is expected to hold.
For context, Strategy’s valuation of $105 billion is about double the total value of the bitcoin it holds.
The massive valuation speaks to traders’ appetite for bitcoin-related trading vehicles, especially as the cryptocurrency rebounds 30% from its mid-April lows.
The CEO of Cantor Equity Partners is Brandon Lutnick, the son of US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.
President Donald Trump was mentioned in Twenty One Capital’s investment presentation as being more crypto-friendly than previous administrations.
Jack Mallers, the co-founder and CEO of Twenty One, will lead the combined company.
“Our mission is simple: to become the most successful company in Bitcoin, the most valuable financial opportunity of our time,” Mallers said in the press release announcing the merger.

Gamers will have to shell out more money for Xbox consoles and controllers amid sweeping global tariffs that have caused prices to rise for American consumers. 
On Thursday, the Microsoft-owned video game platform announced that it has adjusted recommended retail prices for Xbox consoles and controllers worldwide and is preparing to raise prices for some games as well. 
“We understand that these changes are challenging, and they were made with careful consideration given market conditions and the rising cost of development,” the company wrote in an announcement. “Looking ahead, we continue to focus on offering more ways to play more games across any screen and ensuring value for Xbox players.” 
The expected price for the Xbox Series X console has been upped from $499 to $599, according to updated price recommendations for the United States. The Series X Digital is now priced at $549.99, and the Series X 2TB Galaxy Special Edition will cost buyers $729.99. 
And the Xbox Series S consoles are seeing price increases of $80, putting buyers at $379.99 for the 512GB version and $429.99 for the 1TB version. In its announcement, Xbox noted that the availability of its Series S and X consoles may continue to fluctuate over time depending on the country and individual retailers. 
Wireless controllers will also now start at $64.99 for the base model, with prices ranging up to $199.99. But some Xbox controllers, including the Adaptive Controller and Adaptive Joystick, will cost the same as before. 
Price hikes for Xbox headsets, however, are impacting only the United States and Canada, according to the company. In these countries, they’re now priced at $64.99 for a stereo headset or $119.99 for wireless. 
While the price of existing games will remain the same, Xbox says it plans to raise prices for some of its new first-party games to $79.99 starting this holiday season. 
“Local pricing may differ across countries and platforms,” a spokesperson for Microsoft wrote in an email. “These differences reflect regional considerations including [foreign exchange] rates and market conditions.”
The changes, which stirred some frustration within the gaming community on Thursday, come after Nintendo also raised prices of some games to $79.99 last month. Similarly, Nintendo later announced that while the price of its Switch 2 would remain unchanged at launch, accessories for the console would be subject to price adjustments “due to changes in market conditions.” 
Beyond video games, the tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump have threatened to raise prices on a wide range of goods from cars to coffee to fireworks. Businesses have begun to issue warnings about the tariffs’ impacts on company profits as well as consumer expenses. 
Online retail giants like Amazon, Temu and Shein — the latter two being Chinese e-commerce platforms known for ultra-low prices — have also indicated that they would be passing on price adjustments to customers as a result of the tariffs.
