Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver’s upcoming medieval RPG adventure Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is coming out, with pre-orders already open. As the team eyes an early 2025 release date, and loyalists can already purchase their desired edition, we’re taking a gander at what players can expect to get in the Gold Edition available for purchase.
Players will be able to take control of Henry of Skalitz once again as they set on an adventure that continues the narrative from where it left off. The war against Sigismund the Red Fox continues in this entry, as players engage in a bigger, better, and enhanced version of the original experience.
First, we’ll talk a bit about the pre-order bonus that’s going to be available. Those who purchase any edition before the release of the game will receive the Lion’s Crest Bonus Quest, which will be available on day one. Completing this questline will reward players with the Knight Brunswick armour, a legendary set that’ll help you in the war.
Moving on to the Gold Edition, we’ll talk a bit about the DLC. The original title received 13 DLC, eight of which were paid and five of which were free DLC voice packs with HD quality. Following a similar suit, Kingdom Come: Deliverance does have three confirmed expansions coming. The Gold Edition will feature the Expansion Pass, which will come with the three upcoming expansions, giving players the opportunity to tackle the additional content as it releases. It’s worth noting, however, that this hasn’t been affected by the recent Steam change for the Season Passes, so we don’t have any additional information on it just yet.
Also part of the Expansion Pass is the Shields of Seasons Passing, which gives players the opportunity to customise their shield. This will let you add a hint of “you” to Henry as you venture through 15th-century medieval Europe and change the way you represent yourself during the narrative.
Unique to the Gold Edition, however, is the Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, which will let you dress up as a huntsman during the narrative. Dress the part as you venture out into the world to hunt down Sigismund the Red Fox, dressed appropriately with an outfit and crossbow to boot!
