From January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025, users who hold BNSOL or stake SOL in their Binance accounts will be eligible for OM APR Boost Airdrop Rewards.  This airdrop aims to supplement the standard annual percentage rate (APR) associated with Binance SOL staking.
The total rewards pool for this airdrop is set at 191,619.83 OM with daily distributions of approximately 6,181.28 OM throughout the campaign.
To claim, users should navigate to the SOL Staking page within their Binance account and select the Claim Rewards option.

MID-MICHIGAN (WNEM) – A mid-Michigan security expert gave some insight on how people can prepare themselves for the unfathomable after a deadly attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.
Tom Mynsberge, president and founder of Critical Incident Management, said it’s all about preparing before a situation occurs.
“Keep your head on a swivel. Know what’s around you. Know what your options are if things happen,” he said.
He spoke about what you can do to try and protect yourself in a situation like the one that occurred in New Orleans early Wednesday morning, Jan. 1, when a vehicle plowed into a crowd on Bourbon Street, killing at least 15 and injuring dozens.
“In a situation like this, you would hear the engine roaring of the vehicle, which is highly unusual for the circumstances you’re in. That should be your first alert. And while you’re walking and you’re in your area, even viewing it, look for insets in buildings which offer you protection. You know, maybe try to put yourself near a lamp post which puts something between you and a speeding vehicle, or any type of barrier that could be there,” Mynsberge said.
TV5 has learned that Bourbon Street has had barriers to prevent vehicle attacks since 2017, but Wednesday’s rampage happened amid a major project to remove and replace the devices, which left the area vulnerable.
Mynsberege said that serves as another reminder that your safety starts with you.
“It’s all situation awareness. You can make yourself a victim by not being aware of your surroundings, what might be coming up behind you, and not being able to hear it because you had your noise-cancelling earphones in, that’s what they’re for. Not really a good idea anymore in public areas when you’re out there and exposed. Give yourself a defensive posture, or at least a chance when something like this happens,” he said.
Mynsberge said you should always be asking yourself, “What are my options? What am I going to do if something happens?”

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A New Year’s celebration in New Orleans turned deadly early Wednesday when authorities say a man intentionally drove through a crowd, killing 15 people and injuring dozens of others.
In Lincoln, local security experts said there isn’t a 100% foolproof way to prevent something like that from happening.
“If some somebody wants to do something, they’re going to find a way,” said Terrickeo Watson, a security consultant for A.M Security.
But they do a lot of planning whenever large crowds are expected, like during football, volleyball and basketball games.
“With crowd management, the first thing that’s important is to let the crowd know that there is security nearby,” Watson said.
He said guards stand by entrances, conducting pat-downs and checking IDs if it’s required.
But if it’s an all-age event, that can be a little trickier because some people look younger than they actually ar — and they could be armed.
A.M Security has been working in Lincoln for seven years for private events, schools and sporting events, and even offering personal security services.
Watson said he has to be on high alert at big events. Certain crowds can be a little rowdy.
“Some of the biggest emotions is, ‘Am I going to make it home tonight?’ There’s several events in the past that I worked that ended in shootings,” Watson said. “You know everything is good, but you get that certain group, the minute you see them and the way they carry themselves, you just know it’s going to be problems.”
He also said violence in crowds usually happens just outside the perimeter because there’s not as much as security there.
Experts say public awareness is also a key part of keeping crowds safe.
Simple reminders such as to stay calm and follow the exits can make a world of a difference when panic sets in.

The game is set against the backdrop of a conflict between King Wenceslas IV and his brother Sigismund. At the beginning of the game, Sigismund’s Polovtsian mercenaries destroy the mining settlement of Silver Rock, and the protagonist Henry, controlled by the player, unwittingly becomes a participant in these events. He loses his parents and enters the service of Mr. Radzig the Mare, who leads the resistance against Sigismund. In an attempt to take revenge on his parents’ murderers, Henry is drawn into a conspiracy to restore the rightful king Wenceslas IV to the throne.

In the game, you need to eat and sleep in order not to exhaust your body. Clothing and equipment wear out over time and need to be repaired. The combat system requires attentiveness, studying the available options, and planning a fight. Kingdom Come: Deliverance received generally positive reviews from critics.
