Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Division acknowledges a group of animal lovers who built a 40×40 fenced area for animals at the Animal Control office. The indoor run allows animals at Animal Control the ability to run, play and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and secure environment. These extraordinary folks wish to remain anonymous and keep the focus on the animals that will benefit from the exercise and enrichment. The materials and labor were all donated by the people who completed the build in just three days. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Control staff cannot stress enough how much this generous act means to the animals and the community. The entire staff is extremely grateful for the kindness, generosity and support from this group of animal lovers.
