The Green Bay Packers defense put the fear into the New Orleans Saints on their way to a shutout victory Monday night and a playoff berth.
Packers defensive end Rashan Gary carried this aggression over into the postgame when he crashed Jordan Love’s on-field interview with ESPN’s Lisa Salters.
And he gave the veteran reporter a scare in the process.
Salters asked Love how it felt to clinch a playoff berth after the 34-0 win at home.
“It’s amazing, this is what we work for all offseason,” Love said before he was interrupted by the lurking Gary.
“I played with him,” a fired up Gary shouted on camera. “Once again punch the ticket.”
Love, known for his calmness, told Gary “come on man, come on” appearing to ask him to lower the temperature a bit knowing he was on national TV.
Gary came back for more to make a barking sound.
Salters could be heard saying to him “you scared me.”
Gary and the Packers defense will give the Saints offense nightmares. The Packers’ suffocating defense pitched the first shutout of the 2024 NFL season.
Gary was a big part of it. He recovered a fumble in the first half, one of two takeaways for the Packers defense in the game.

Union leader for prison guards calls for change after Ohio officer's Christmas Day death – The Columbus Dispatch
The president of the union representing corrections officers is demanding action after a guard was killed on Christmas Day in Ohio.
Officer Andrew Lansing died Wednesday after an inmate assault at Ross Correctional Institution in Chillicothe, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. Lansing’s death is a “horrendous and heart-wrenching” reminder of what corrections officers face on the job, said Chris Mabe, president of the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association.
But, Mabe said too many people see the risk of death and injury as just part of the job for corrections officers. After the latest death, that needs to change once and for all, he said.
“We’re going to insist and demand on accountability,” Mabe told The Dispatch on Wednesday. “We’re demanding action from the governor’s office.”
The first issue that must be addressed is staffing, Mabe said. Corrections facilities were long understaffed before the COVID-19 pandemic and shortages have continued in the years since, Mabe said.
Between employees who are off and position vacancies, Ross Correctional Institution was short-staffed by as many as 40 officers as of Wednesday, Mabe said. Mabe said he believed many working Christmas Day were also likely working overtime to help cover staffing shortages.
To attract more people to work in corrections, Mabe said higher pay is needed to reflect the dangers that officers face. Mabe also said drug use and violence has been on the rise in state corrections facilities.

If all three issues are handled, Mabe said he believes tragedies such as Lansing’s death could be prevented.
“Our worst fears have come true once again: An officer was murdered on Christmas Day,” Mabe said. “We think these kinds of things can be avoided in this department.”
While Lansing’s death was the result of an inmate assault, further details were not released Wednesday by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is expected to investigate Lansing’s death.
The Dispatch has reached out to the state patrol and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections for comment.
Mabe is the second corrections officer to die in 2024. Lt. Rodney Osborne from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction’s Southern Ohio Correctional Facility was killed during a training exercise in April.
“The loss of a staff person is difficult, but to lose a family member on Christmas Day at the hands of someone in our custody is a tragedy beyond comprehension,” ODRC Director Annette Chambers-Smith said in a prepared statement. “Instead of going home after his shift to be with his family on this holiday, Officer Lansing made the ultimate sacrifice.”

Pulsz Free SC: How to Get Free Sweeps Coins at Pulsz – Deadspin
Loading …
Over 700 casino games. Major gaming studios. Lots of Megaways slots. 1x Bonus. T&Cs apply, 18+
If you’ve been awarded a Pulsz free SC bonus, you could be in for a free social casino treat! These popular free Sweepstakes Coins (known in-house as Pulsz Coins) could go a long way in helping you explore this social gaming platform.
As well as enabling you to play for free, reduce inherent risk, and stay safer when playing your favorite free casino-style games, Pulsz SCs could even be used to make real money redemptions, as long as you’ve met all of the stated requirements. With this in mind, let’s take a closer look at Sweepstakes Coins at Pulsz:
As a sweepstakes casino platform, Pulsz Casino offers its members the chance to play free social casino and slot-style games with no real money purchases required. Instead of playing with real money, Pulsz Casino users can play their favorite games using two types of virtual currency: Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins / SCs
It’s important to note here that Gold Coins hold no real monetary value, although users may purchase packages of these via the in-house Pulsz store. On the other hand, Pulsz SC Coins may not be purchased from the site – these are awarded to players via various means, which I’ll discuss further on in this page.
The most important difference between these two coins is the fact that it’s possible to redeem SCs for real money prizes, whereas GCs are non-redeemable. In order to make a real money reward redemption for any Pulsz SCs you’ve accrued, you’ll have to have built up a balance of at least 100 SCs and completed a 1x playthrough requirement. Alternatively, it’s also possible to redeem 25 SCs for a gift card balance reward. With this in mind, how can players go about collecting SCs and building up their free Pulsz Sweeps Coins balance?
There are a number of ways to get your hands on free SC coins for Pulsz, although these are slightly harder to access than GCs. Let’s examine some of the most common ways of picking up free Sweeps Coins at the Pulsz Casino platform:
As mentioned previously in this page, Pulsz casino free SCs may be redeemed for gift cards or real money prizes, whereas GCs can only be used to play games, and may not be used for real money redemptions.
If you pick up Pulsz free coins, always double-check the ratio of GCs to SCs before you attempt to make any real money redemptions. If you’re awarded free SCs as part of a no deposit bonus for Pulsz, remember that you’ll have to build up a balance of at least 100 SCs and play through these at least once in order to qualify for a real money prize redemption. If you’d rather redeem your free SCs for a gift card balance, you’ll only have to collect 25 SCs.
The Pulsz Casino platform enables eligible users to make real money prize redemptions via a variety of reliable methods including Skrill, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and selected online banking providers.
In my opinion, Pulsz free SC coins are attainable enough that almost every member of the platform should be able to reap the benefits, often from the moment they sign up as a new user. The minimal playthrough requirements and low minimum balance requirements should ensure that most players can access generous SC bonuses, and even make real money redemptions if they’ve ticked all of the relevant boxes. What’s more, the fact that users can easily pick up GCs, SCs, Pulsz free spins, and a whole host of other handy rewards should go in this social casino platform’s favor, especially for those looking for a free playing balance boost on the house!
Yes, I believe that the Pulsz social casino brand can be trusted. Check out our Pulsz review for a more in-depth look at the platform.
No, it is not possible to make real money bets at Pulsz. Instead, players can use virtual currencies to play their favorite casino-style games.
Yes, it’s easy to pick up free SCs at Pulsz. You’ll be allocated 2.3 SCs when you sign up, and you can pick up further bonus SCs each day that you sign in.

Ben Stragnell Gets Super Mario Bros. Running on the Raspberry Pi Pico in a Custom NES Emulator – Hackster.io
Please ensure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser to view this page.
Developer Ben Stragnell has pushed the Raspberry Pi Pico board to its limits, writing a fully-functional Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator which runs on the RP2040 microcontroller — including VGA video and PWM audio outputs.
Launched late last month, the Raspberry Pi Pico is the first outing for the company's in-house RP2040 microcontroller — a dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+ part with some interesting features, including a 133MHz or higher clock speed and programmable input/output (PIO) blocks which can be used to add functionality otherwise missing from the stock peripherals.
To prove its capabilities, Stragnell set himself a challenge: To emulate Nintendo's classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) eight-bit games console, complete with video and audio — no small feat on a device which lacks both video and audio outputs.
"Here's a Raspberry Pi Pico pretending to be a NES," Stragnell posted to Twitter in celebration of his success. "The RP2040 is an amazing piece of work — congratulations to everyone involved. This is a $4 microprocessor board simulating a 6502 plus all the NES hardware (PPU, APU) while bit-banging VGA signals and PWM audio. And it works when clocked at less than half the default speed!
"It's actually entirely C and ARM/Thumb asm [assembly]. But (fun fact): Most of the asm is auto-generated from one of the ugliest Ruby scripts in the world! [The emulator is] 100% custom, but it was instructive to look at some other emus to see how they handled some of the more esoteric PPU stuff. I was concerned about getting existing implementations to run fast enough, since I was targeting 48Mhz. However, given that the actual silicon is so much faster than 48Mhz it might be a worthwhile project to try a proper port [of an open-source NES emulator.]"
Stagnell has not yet published the source code for the project, but additional details are available in the Twitter thread.

Jennifer Lopez, who has been in the spotlight ever since her high-profile relationship with Ben Affleck, opened up about the challenges of motherhood and relationships during the promotion of her upcoming movie, Unstoppable. The Hollywood couple announced their separation in July 2024, just shy of their second wedding anniversary.
In a candid conversation with Judy Robles, Lopez shared how her portrayal of Robles—a mother navigating complex emotions and relationships—resonated deeply with her personal life. Referring to Robles’ bond with her athlete son, Anthony, the singer-actress said, "The relationship between you and Anthony really, for me, informed and became the heart and the soul of the film."
Lopez elaborated on how playing a mother on screen mirrored her real-life experiences. "Being a mom and knowing what it is to want to give the best to your children and put forward your best face for them all the time. But also be struggling as a woman and in relationships and in life and with your own dreams and your own aspirations—and what that means and what that feels like, I think for me, was the biggest thing," she shared.
Robles, reflecting on the film, admitted that reliving moments from her past relationship was emotionally challenging. “It was hard for me to watch the scenes where she portrayed my relationship with my ex-husband,” Robles revealed.
Lopez responded with gratitude, acknowledging the emotional weight of the story. "And thank you for allowing us to do that," she said, adding, "I feel that very deeply because I've been in the same spot at times, like, 'Maybe I shouldn't be giving this person a chance.'"
Despite their separation, Affleck was present at the premiere of Unstoppable, showing his support for Lopez. The film, which centers on Robles’ journey, has already earned critical acclaim, with audiences praising Lopez's heartfelt performance.
Unstoppable is slated for release on January 16, 2025, promising a powerful exploration of resilience, relationships, and the indomitable spirit of a mother.
