The briefing, scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, will be led by Mario Diaz Balart, vice chair of the Appropriations Committee and chairman of its National Security Subcommittee. Members of the Foreign Affairs and Financial Services Committees will also participate.
The session will contribute to a report ordered by Trump on the killings of Nigerian Christians and on what steps Congress can take to support efforts to protect vulnerable religious communities around the world.
